Measuring Guidelines

We have developed a simple, easy-to-measure and easy-to-install railings system.

1- Clean the surface on which you wish to install your railing systems;

2- Select your post pattern below, and cut it with scissors;

3- Place the pattern on your deck where the bases of your posts should be (see diagram);

4- If there is a staircase, place the base of the railing on top (see diagram or video);

5- Measure the distance between the interior lines of the post (see diagram or video);

6- Trace the base of the post on the ground with a pencil;

7- Mark down the degree of inclination for every stairs section. Use a level and a scale protractor or a smartphone.

Patterns for measurements:

*Note that only the 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 post will cover the width of the railing if you’ve selected the 2.5 x 2.5 colonial one.

Mirik aluminum railings are totally maintenance-free. Scraping, sanding and painting will never be needed again thanks to the very resistant enamel that covers the aluminum railings. This particular property brings many assets to MIRIK railings. They are especially resistant to expansion, rust, cracking; yellowing and they won’t absorb humidity. To clean them, simply use a damp cloth.
